Fire Chief L. Wayne Moore: "The firefighters of Sixes River Fire are all volunteers and are on call 24 hours a day. Volunteers comprise 73% of firefighters in the United States and their services
have saved localities across the country an estimated $36.8 billion per year.
Here at Sixes River Fire, our force responds to motor vehicle accidents, structural
